J Traxx is a well known East St Louis, MO native who wears multiple hats in the music and entertainment industry. He is a popular singer/rapper, producer, promoter, and overall, a memorable person that blesses many with his infectious wave of positivity. He has accomplished many career heights and has hit many stages including performing at The Super Jam X in STL and live on The Pascal Show. With his focus on creating lyrically catchy and thought-provoking music most of it comes from his experience in music production and promotion. He knows what the people want to hear or what is missing and executes each project with a different vibe and feel.
While driving a MetroBus route in St Louis county on December 3, 2021 he survived a shot to the head which left him rebuilding his life. His survival put him in a thankful, positive, and blessed head space while recovering and regaining his strength. J Traxx got a spark of new inspiration and has continued to create and release new music since the incident in 2021. His latest project was released this year in 2024 following his hot single released in late 2023 “All She Do is Shake” featuring Sexyy Red.
As he creates new music he is open to interviews, features, and working with others on his climb back to the top. Although music is his inspiration he wants to use it to motivate others to over come setbacks and know that each day brings new opportunity that was not available to you yesterday. He is excited about participating and igniting community partnerships that will stop or reduce gun violence and increase the community involvement with the next generation.
